Throwback to Sea Otter Ollie As a Pup!

You already know this week marked sea otter Ollie’s ninth birthday; to commemorate the occasion, the Aquarium of the Pacific published a short blog post and throwback footage of Ollie as a pup! Hugh, a longtime husbandry volunteer at the aquarium, writes:

The video starts with Ollie receiving a new toy for her ninth birthday. It then transitions back in time to 2010 during Ollie’s first week at the aquarium. Yes, that is me being a proud “Otter Pop” with the then tiny otter. What I remember most about Ollie first week are her different cries depending on what was going on. There is her “I am here cry”, her “Where did you go?” cry and her “I’m getting comfy and sleepy” cry.
