Happy Ninth Birthday, Ollie!
This curious and feisty girl was orphaned as a pup and brought to the Aquarium of the Pacific nine years ago. Since then, she has grown to be even more curious and very intelligent.
If you see an otter doing backflips for seemingly no reason, that's likely Ollie. She figured out how to change directions faster by doing a backflip.
She also learned how to suction cup a frisbee to the exhibit's window a foot above the water line to keep it out of reach of the other otters. Genius. Happy birthday, clever girl!
