Last year we wrote [here and here] about Wally, the sea otter wounded and blinded by gunshots in the wild. Vancouver Aquarium quickly came to the rescue and it was due to their efforts that he survived. Over the past year, the aquarium has continued to treat and rehabilitate Wally in his new home, and finally his condition has improved so much he can start making new friends - which he has in fellow Vancouver resident Tanu! Below is a video of the pair meeting for the very first time:
