Meet Clamato!

On May 29, an adult male sea otter was admitted to the Rescue centre after being found on Chesterman Beach near Tofino, BC

He arrived emaciated and is now receiving intensive treatment, including fluids, medications, nutrition, and upcoming diagnostics (bloodwork, radiographs, and a full exam). His condition remains serious and his prognosis is guarded.

Sea otters have extremely high energy needs, and his recovery diet includes specialized prey like geoducks and crabs.
