Sneaky Pap Shot of Sea Otter Having a Bite Al Fresco

Sneaky Pap Shot of Sea Otter Having a Bite Al Fresco

Via Sea Otter Savvy, which writes:

Sea otters consume over 1/4 of their body weight per day to survive in the cold Pacific waters. This need to eat and sleep a lot is why it’s imperative we keep our distance and do not disturb (we recommend maintaining a distance of >60ft or 5 kayak lengths).

This otter happily took its snack break to eat some mussels of the Morro Bay T-Pier pilings. Photo taken from shore and cropped - no disturbance here ;)
