SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham Brings Rescued Sea Otters to the UK
Earlier this year the SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham made UK history by adopting two rescued, non-releasable sea otters, Ozzy and Ola! The two were rescued separately a couple of years ago and subsequently rehabbed by the Alaska SeaLife Center; as the US Fish & Wildlife Service deemed Ozzy and Ola non-releasable, the pair needed a forever home. In the end it was SEA LIFE Birmingham who took them in, housing sea otters for the first time in the UK. Watch the video above to see how SEA LIFE Birmingham had to prepare for their new residents!
