Penguin Wellington "Meets" Shedd Aquarium's Sea Otters

You might have seen Shedd Aquarium make the news recently when they let their resident penguins out to explore the empty aquarium, closed due to COVID-19. Here’s a clip of penguin Wellington checking out some fish, and above is a video of Wellington “meeting” Shedd’s sea otters!

We’re obviously partial to otters here, but Wellington’s story is so interesting! Shedd writes:

At 32 years old, Wellington is no spring chicken (and not just because he’s a penguin!) He is more than double the life expectancy of a rockhopper. Thanks to laser therapy and cataract surgeries, he’s “still got it” and can enjoy going on enriching adventures.
