Basketball Star Eddie the Sea Otter Turned 20 This Month!

Eddie, a rescued sea otter made famous by his basketball therapy, turned 20 today.

Earlier this month sea otter Eddie at the Oregon Zoo had a milestone birthday: 20 years old! Longtime Daily Otter followers will remember these posts (here and here) featuring Eddie shooting hoops, a physical therapy and enrichment activity that helps his arthritic elbows. The Oregon Zoo had a lot of surprises for Eddie's birthday - check them out in the video above!
