It's Time for Pup 719 to Get a New Name!
It's time for little sea otter pup 719 to get a new name! Voting is only open to Shedd Aquarium members, but here are the candidates:
- Gilly: For Guillemot Island, near where she was rescued
- Ellie: For Carmel, the beach where she was rescued
- Cali: For California, where she was found
- Poppy: For the California state flower
- Reya: Derived from Monterey Bay
Shedd will announce 719's new name on Friday, March 18!
