Sea Otter Pup Rescued by Monterey Bay Aquarium

Sea Otter Pup Rescued by Monterey Bay Aquarium Earlier this week the Monterey Bay Aquarium rescued a female sea otter pup near Carmel Beach, California! The aquarium writes:

After rescue by our Sea Otter [Research and Conservation] Program team and without available surrogate mothers to raise her for release to the wild here on site, this little girl—now known as 719—may have found a home at another aquarium! More information to come once we’ve confirmed the details with US Fish and Wildlife!
