A wild sea otter mother and her very young pup floated with the tide into Monterey Bay Aquarium's outdoor tide pool, where they stayed for about a day before heading back out into the wild. Aquarium staff was able to take some beautiful photos and a fantastic video of the pair (we've got links to more photos at the bottom of this post):
